Plant geek: what's blooming

I captured a few more pictures of some of the latest blooms in the yard. This weekend we added some really beautiful new color.  Everything is coming alive!

We have a fairly new columbine plant on the east side of the house.  These delicate flowers look so dainty and feminine.  I always love seeing these blooms and we enjoy them while they last.  The Kansas summers don't usually allow them to have much longevity.

The lilacs began to open up more, too. The fragrance is also more and more pronounced.  Loving the lilacs this year!
